US 30 Corridor in Benton County Project Update

US 30 Corridor from Iowa 21 to US 218 in Benton County

The Iowa Department of Transportation will be acquiring property on both sides of US 30 throughout the project limits in order to expand the road to the planned four lanes. There will also be property acquisition at the IA 21/US 30 interchange in order to build the new diamond interchange.

Westbound lanes will be constructed generally on the alignment of the existing roadway, and eastbound, two new lanes will be added to the south of the existing alignment. There will be a diamond interchange at IA 21, and two quadrant cloverleaf ramps with US 30 under US 218. The project is located south of Keystone in Benton County.

It sounds like Right-of-Way acquisition date is projected to be late 2016/Early 2017 and LET being late 2017.
