US 8 Access Management and Safety Improvements Project

Condemning Authority: Minnesota Department of Transportation
In 2004, Federal law provided $5.76 million for capacity and safety improvements to Highway 8 from west of 306th to the eastern limits of Lindstrom, Minn. These funds, along with state and local funds will be used for construction of the project, which is anticipated to begin in 2011. The project is in the final phases of design, and right of way acquisitions will begin at the end of 2009.
