Condemning Authority - State of Florida

The purpose of this project is to widen SR 70 from 34^th Avenue to 80^th Avenue, which extends 3.659 miles.  Preliminary engineering for the project is well underway and will be complete in 2008.  Property acquisition is budgeted at over $18 million and will begin in 2009.  Construction is anticipated to begin in 2011 and is budgeted at over $47 million.
