Of several alternatives proposed for the expansion project, one would extend the secondary runway into land owned by a subdivision of the development, and as a result properties within the development will lose significant property value. This alternative will additionally build a service road that will extend around the runway and the development and will re-route the newly landscaped entrance to the development.
Grande Harbor was built in 2005 and includes nearly 175 property lots, a walking trail, creek access and several other perks.
