The SC/DOT is planning on changing the US 17 Bypass and SC 707/Farrow Parkway Interchange.
The project will eliminate traffic signals and provide US 17 Bypass uninterrupted movement. It’s fully funded through the “riding on a penny” program, a Horry County sales tax program created to help fund various transportation projects.
Right-of-way is expected to begin this summer, with construction scheduled to start in the summer of 2010.
