Condemning Authority: Ferguson Township
Ferguson Township in Pennsylvania has secured a $3 million state grant for the extension of Old Gatesburg Road from Science Park Road to Blue Course Drive.
The township will be responsible for the remaining $700,000 adding up to a total of $3.7 million project cost.
Officials are aiming for the project to begin construction by early next year and be completed by year’s end.
Plans include an additional three fourths of a mile, at least one bus stop with pull off area and shelter and sidewalk and bike trail parallel to the road.
