in North Carolina Projects

This project is divided into 2 segments;segment A is currently unfunded for property acquisition and construction. Segment B is funded, and NC DOT is currently working on acquiring property. Eminent domain will be used on this project if negotiations can not be reached between property owners and the NC DOT.

Segment B begins at the intersection of Future US 311and Lexington Avenue, where Greensboro High Point Road will extend East on a new alignment and terminate at Hill Top Road.

The approximate budget for property acquisition is over $10 million. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2012.

Included in this blog are layouts of segment B, which clearly show the new alignment for Greensboro High Point Road.

If your property will be acquired as a result of this project, or if you think your property might be affected, don’t hesitate to call us at 866.339.7242.
